A vast plain surrounded by high mountains; looking every bit like an ominous battlefield.
Armageddon (“hill of Megiddo”) is mentioned briefly in the New Testament in Revelation 16. It is also the location of many decisive battles of ancient Israel. Accounts of this battleground are given in the Old Testament and Hebrew books of Ezekiel, Daniel, Joel and Zechariah.
Armageddon is given, perhaps symbolically in Revelation (The Apocalypse) as the site for the Final Battle (between good and evil) and the Last Judgment.
Looks like a desolate eerie kind of place.
